Terms of Use — Gallery Chameleon

By using Gallery Chameleon ("the app") you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the app.

1. Eligibility

You must be at least 13 years old to use the app.

2. Your content

The app lets you upload images, paint on them, draw a profile picture, choose a username, create or name groups, and share hides with other players via a join code or directly with friends and groups. You are solely responsible for the content you provide, and you confirm that you have the right to use and share it.

You may also submit a hide to the public gallery, where any player can see and search it. This is always your choice and never automatic. Submitted hides are reviewed by us before they appear, and we may decline any submission, or remove an already-published one, at our discretion. Editing a hide that is already in the gallery removes it from the gallery until we have reviewed it again. Only submit content you are willing to show to everyone.

You keep ownership of everything you create. We do not claim your artwork.

To be able to run the game, we need your permission to handle what you provide. By uploading a hide, drawing a profile picture, or sharing content, you grant us a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free licence to store, reproduce, and display that content solely in order to operate the app — that is, to show it to the players, friends, and groups you share it with. This licence exists only so the game can work; we will not use your content to promote the app or for any other purpose without asking you first. It ends when the content is deleted (see "Content lifetime" below and our Privacy Policy).

3. Zero tolerance for objectionable content and abuse

You agree not to upload, share, or transmit any content that is unlawful, sexual or pornographic, violent or gory, hateful, harassing, that depicts or exploits minors, that infringes anyone else's rights, or that is otherwise objectionable.

There is zero tolerance for objectionable content and abusive users.

You agree to use the app lawfully and to respect other players. Remember that anyone you give a join code to can see the image you hid. We may remove content or restrict access at our discretion to enforce these Terms.

6. Content lifetime

Content you share is kept so the people you shared it with can keep seeing it — a hide shared with a friend or group stays available in that conversation rather than expiring on a timer. You can stop sharing a hide's public join code at any time from the My Hides screen. You can delete everything associated with you from inside the app at any time (About → Account → Delete my account), and you can also ask us to remove content from our servers (see our Privacy Policy). The app also keeps a copy of your own finished artwork on your device. We are not a storage or backup service, and we are not responsible for content that is deleted or lost.

7. Signing in

You can play without any account. If you choose to attach Sign in with Apple or Google, it exists only so you can recover your account on another device; it grants no extra features. Keep your sign-in secure — anyone who can use it can reach your account. Deleting your account also removes the sign-in attached to it.

8. No warranty; limitation of liability

The app is provided "as is", without warranties of any kind. To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any damages arising from your use of the app or from content shared by other users.

10. Changes

We may update these Terms. Continued use of the app after a change means you accept the updated Terms.
